And that’s about all the French I know. But then, I’m not an NDP Quebec MP who claims to be fluently bilingual.

One of the McGill students sent to Parliament Hill by the NDP’s Orange crush is being faulted for her French.   A voter in Charmaine Borg’s riding of Terrebonne-Blainville is complaining about more than dozen grammatical errors in the holiday message the MP sent to constituents’ homes. 

Borg was born in Ontario, claims to be fluently bilingual and makes a point of speaking French in the House of Commons.
